Build control infrastructure for autonomous software.
Lootrunners is early and intentionally small. We are building financial and operational control infrastructure for software that can act, buy, and use external Resources on its own. Security, clarity, and human authority are product requirements, not later additions.
We work around machine authority, financial actions, credentials, and sensitive data. Least privilege, controlled change, explicit failure states, and review are part of the product.
The person closest to the problem owns the decision, implementation, documentation, and outcome.
We write down decisions, explain tradeoffs, and prefer systems people can actually reason about.
Claims should be backed by functioning controls, visible evidence, and honest limits.
The best agent-control workflow comes from the people who operate, secure, approve, and account for the work.
We hire when a specific problem has outgrown the people already responsible for it. We are still interested in exceptional people working in:
- Agent infrastructure and MCP
- Payment and commerce infrastructure
- Platform and application security
- Accounting and reconciliation
- AI/model infrastructure
- Product design for high-consequence workflows
- Finance and operations for autonomous systems
Contractor and cross-border payout operations live on as one adjacent workflow inside the same system — relevant experience there still counts.
Tell us what you understand, what you would build, and why this problem matters to you. Tell us what you’d build. This is not an application to an active role. We will keep strong introductions on file and reach out when the work becomes real.
