Called UsuraiThe minimalist table comes with a 35-millimetre thick tabletop that can be rounded or rectilinear.
The table’s surface is white beech The veneer core is made of an oak Surface and was crafted by using a crosscut lamination technique that reveals two layers of wood in a stripe wood-grain pattern.
The tabletop is supported by four legs that are pared back. No additional pieces, like a screen panel or cross piece, are required below.
This beautiful table is a rethinking of modelled plywood furniture, said Koyori. “The simplicity of the Usurai Table, to our surprise has opened new avenues for Koyori.”
The Usurai Table is available in 2 sizes: 1600 millimetres or 2400 millimetres.
