Sheff G is almost home after his two-year bid but has legal issues.

ABC reported Sheff, born Michael Williams and 32 alleged Brooklyn Gang members were charged with multiple shootings. One person died and dozens were injured during one of these shootings.

Indictments state that defendants belong to 8 Trey Crips or its affiliate 9 Ways. They are accused of shootings, possessing guns and using stolen cars to eliminate rivals. This includes members of Folk Nation Gangster Disciples (FNGD) and ICG Babiiez. The indictment also covers 27 violent acts, including 12 shootings.

Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez:

“The senseless gun violence, allegedly committed by these defendants, terrorized our neighbors for years and left more than a dozen people with serious injuries. It is distressing to know that some of the violence was allegedly fueled by a young man who used money he made from a successful music career to allegedly pay for and encourage acts of violence.”

Sheff is accused by prosecutors of offering lavish gifts to people who commit violet crimes. They also accuse him of rounding up three “shooters” to a crime scene and he acted as getaway driver.

The most “egregious incident” – a 2020 shooting where defendant, Kamondre Dekattu, was captured on surveillance video emerging firing shots from an Infiniti. Theodore Senior was killed by an alleged Folk Nation opponent. Kamondre has been charged with murder. Sheff, Crystal Williams, and their sister Sheff Williams are accused of being involved in a conspiracy to murder for this and other incidents.

Prosecutors claim that Sheff, his friends and family celebrated after this incident at a luxurious steakhouse in NYC. Gonzalez spoke at a news briefing and said:

“Sheff G became a prominent member of this gang and became central to our investigation,” Gonzalez said during a news conference. “Sheff G used a lot of the money that he earned to facilitate further gang activity. He encouraged gang members to participate in violent crimes.”

Sheff admitted to criminal possession in the second-degree of a firearm in 2021. He was arrested After leading two Nassau County Police Department automobiles on a high-speed pursuit in August 2020. He sped through an intersection and ended up hitting the bumper of a woman’s car, then crashed into a tree.
