Jeezy, real name Jay Jenkins, and Jeannie Mai wed in 2021 after the pair met each other after Jeezy appeared on Mai’s former daytime talk show, The Real. Jenkins and Mai have a daughter together and Jenkins is asking for joint custody. He also states that the marriage cannot be saved.

Jeezy’s diamond-encrusted band is still visible in the subsequent images of this post. Some online, especially in the comments section of the post, believe that this was a message for his estranged wife but that hasn’t been confirmed. The image was published the day after news of the divorce became widely known.
Jeannie Mai did not post to her page in five days. She shared pictures of her trip to New York City for NYFW. She also shared a behind-the-scenes video of her preparation for the photo shoot on her TikTok page with Nick Minaj’s “Last Time I Saw You” as the backing music. She is wearing her wedding rings as well, some have pointed out.
Mai or Jeezy has not publicly announced their split.
