The 45th president took to social media to share the information.
“Unlawful leaks from a corrupt & extremely political Manhattan district legal professional’s workplace … point out that, with no crime having the ability to be confirmed … the far & away main Republican candidate & former president of america of America, might be arrested on Tuesday of subsequent week,” Trump wrote on Reality Social, according to Reuters.
He would be the second president ever to be arrested. The primary was Ulysses S. Grant, who was arrested by William H. West, a former slave and Civil Struggle veteran who joined the Washington, D.C., Metropolitan Police Division (MPD). Satirically, Trump’s arrest might be by the hands of one other Black individual— New York Legal professional Common Letitia “Tish” James.
