Studios from 28 different countries are represented by the 93 longlisted sustainability projects. Peru, Taiwan, Austria, Israel, Norway You can also find out more about the following: Germany.
The UK has 30 longlisted entries and is followed by France with 29. US You can also find out more about the following: the Netherlands, The two teams are tied at six each.
Sustainability longlists include a low-carbon community arts space Uganda a mass-timber office building London is a city that offers a wide range of activities. a redeveloped brutalist housing estate Sheffield is a city that has a lot to offer.
The other projects on the list include a biomaterial construction block made from a sugarcane by-product, a residential building wrapped in colonnades of tree trunks You can also find out more about the following: a collection of colourful surface tiles made of paper waste.
All Dezeen Awards 2020 longlists announced this week

The longlist of projects has been chosen from more than 4,800 entries in 94 different countries. This is the sixth edition for our award programme which honours the best in architecture, interiors, and design as well as studios and individuals who produce the most outstanding work.

The shortlist of projects will be determined by the judges and announced in October. The winners will be determined by a second round of judging conducted by our master juries. This will take place in November.
The six category winners will compete to win the title of overall sustainable project for the year.
