Saturday night’s Colorado–Colorado State The Rams’ Jay Norvell added fuel to the fire by taking a swipe at Buffaloes’ head coach Deion Sander.
Norvell made it known he takes his hat and sunglasses off when he talks “to grown-ups,” his team’s 43-35 two-overtime loss to Coach Prime and company was highlighted by a number of egregious hits and questionable plays.
Specifically, the play that left Colorado’s Travis Hunter injured after an incredibly late hit on the sidelines from Henry Blackburn drew massive backlash from fans.
Here’s a look at the hit:

Hunter will miss some time because of the injury. The college football community had a lot to say. The defenders and officials were all destroyed by Hunter.
How is it that he has not been kicked out??

If there’s a targeting rule that allows immediate removal of a player for operating outside the acceptable level of violence in football, how is that hit not included? This guy watched the swamp kings documentary and thought it was an instruction manual for playing safety in…

He walks like he’s some badass. Cheap shot and he thinks he’s a man. He should be forced to sit for as long as the TH misses.

Oh nah, 11 wasn't even there for football. That's a professional hitman.

This should result in a permanent suspension. I haven't seen a hit this dirty in a while.
